<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise-sorting system capable of enhancing improvement of work efficiency during sorting of small amounts of various types of merchandise in correspondence with the needs of the point destination. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a first conveyer 1 conveying trays 6 storing merchandise being the object of sorting, a plurality of distribution bays having second conveyers 2 diverged from the first conveyer 1 and containers wherein merchandise are put in correspondence to a sorting category arranged, and a plurality of sorting lines L1 to L6 comprising sorting shelves provided in correspondence with the second conveyers 2. A host computer refers an identification information of a tray read by a scanner 5 with a merchandise information table and an arrangement pattern information of the distribution bays, determines which sorting lines L1 to L6 the concerned tray is to be lead into, and controls a sorter 3.</p> |
