PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator which ensures stabilized independent or parallel operation. SOLUTION: A portable generator is provided with a single phase AC voltage outputting after temporarily rectifying an AC voltage comprises means 340, 317 for outputting a signal indicating the voltage between the output terminals and a zero-cross signal, a synchronous operation control section 437 for regulation the phase by starting output of the single phase AC voltage in synchronism with zero-cross timing when the zero-cross signal is inputted within a predetermined short time, and an independent operation control section 435 for starting output of the single phase AC voltage when the zero-cross signal is not inputted before starting output of the single phase AC voltage and causing a single phase AC voltage to form which has a constant period, by dividing the oscillation frequency of an incorporated oscillator. |
