PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the resistance value of a fire extinguishing device for lead switch type heating cooker from increasing due to a heated lead switch. SOLUTION: A lead switch S incorporated in a thermocouple type electromagnetic safety valve circuit M is provided in a section below a gas burner where the switch S is not affected by the high-temperature atmosphere of a heating section and a magnet 21 which turns on/off the switch S turns on/off the contact of the switch S by coming into contact and separating from the switch S in an interlocking way with the separating operation of a magnet 2 from the heat-sensitive metal 1 of a heat-sensitive section A and the resetting operation of the magnet 2 through a pin 11 for interlocking and an actuating member 22.
