PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch connecting part excellent in water stop performance by forming a bypass passage by fixing two branch joints at a prescribed interval to a main pipe outside surface, cutting a main pipe inside of the joints in the prescribed length by sandwiching/blocking up the main pipe, and releasing the connection/blocking- up by a three-way joint. SOLUTION: After placing/fusing a saddle part of fusion saddle joints 2 with a valve function at a prescribed interval in front and in rear in the lengthwise direction of a main pipe 1 on an outside surface of the main pipe 1 with a place for newly arranging a branch part of an outer peripheral surface of the polyethylene main pipe 1 as the center, the mutual joints 2 are connected in a bypass shape by a small diameter polyethylene pipe 3. Next, a valve element of the joints 2 is put in an opening state, a hole is bored in a pipe wall of the main pipe 1 by a boring jig, the valve element is put in a closing state, and a three-way ball valve is switched to a bypass passage. Two places of the main pipe 1 inside of the joints 2 are cut off by a clamp 4, the main pipe 1 between those is cut in the prescribed length, a polyethylene three- way joint 5 is arranged, and branch pipe side piping is laid. Cutoff of the main pipe 1 by the clamp 4 is released to pass water. Thus, a branch part side diameter can be watertightly connected similarly to the main pipe.
