CONVERTER OF CHINESE CHARACTER UNACCOMPANIED WITH TONE CODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Chinese character converter omitting the input of tone codes in order to improve input efficiency on a keyboard. SOLUTION: The Chinese character converter automatically cuts off a series of input phonetic code strings into plural syllables matched with a phonetic combination rule independently of the existence of input of tone codes. A group of homonymous characters or phrases corresponding to each syllable stream or a stream consisting of plural syllables exists in a dictionary 21. Since the input of tone codes can be omitted in the method, the speed of input by a user can be increased and the generation of misinputs due to an error of a tone code can be also evaded.
