PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twist-spinning method having such advantages that both the lowered holding power and twisting ability of the twister can be raised, therefore the physical properties including mechanical strength and the appearance of spun yarns can be maintained nearly at constant levels, and the power of the twister can be raised after the lapse of a specified operating time, thus a sequence control is adopted, therefore the control system can be simplified. SOLUTION: This twist-spinning method comprises carrying out a spinning operation using a spinning nozzle N and a twister T; wherein the power of the twister T is designed to be raised after the lapse of a specified operating time; the twister T is made up of a pair of twisting rollers, and after the lapse of a specified operating time, the twisting power of the twister T is raised by increasing the revolutions of the twisting rollers.
