PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preparing a liquid crystal device in which an adhesive can be easily stripped off from a substrate and reused without complication of the preparation process. SOLUTION: After panel board 11 is stuck to substrate 30 via adhesive sheet 20 and a desired treatment on panel board 11 is completed, ultraviolet ray is irradiated to decrease the adhesion only of adhesive layer 22 to strip panel board 11. Subsequently, ultraviolet ray is irradiated under different conditions to decrease the adhesion of adhesive layer 23 to strip off adhesive sheet 20 from substrate 30.
