PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ventilation performance of a ventilator in which air can be exhausted efficiently from a specified local zone in the form of a swirling air flow. SOLUTION: A ventilator comprises an air supply chamber 3 being introduced with outer air through an air supply duct 6, an exhaust chamber 4 for exhausting air through an exhaust duct 7 disposed on the inside of the air supply chamber 3 concentrically thereto, an air supply space 16 formed between the exhaust chamber 4 and the air supply chamber 3, an exhaust space 17 formed in the exhaust chamber 4, and air supply fan 18 for introducing outer air through the air supply duct 6 and forming a swirling air flow disposed in the air supply space 16, and an exhaust fan 19 for exhausting the inner air sucked through an air inlet 13 to the outside through the exhaust duct 7 disposed in the exhaust space 17.
