摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control fuel injection timing for reducing nitrogen oxide from an engine and enhancing startability, in a fuel injection pump in which a sub- port is disposed in a plunger barrel at right angle to an axial direction of a plunger shaft to leak fuel at the beginning of feeding. SOLUTION: In this control structure, a member for controlling a leakage is adjustably disposed, and a top of a plunger 203 is machined to be a partly inclined stepped shape so that load (a fuel injection amount) is increased/ decreased by length of an axially relative position where a sub-port 213 is closed. Further, there is provided an adjusting shaft 214 for regulating and controlling the leakage at a time of feeding of fuel. An adjusting shaft portion comprises a linear solenoid, makes the leakage variable according to the number of rotations or load, and carries out correction by increasing/decreasing the leakage by a combination with an electronic map of the fuel injection amount.
