PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize easy and quick repair in the field and lowering of the repairing cost by interposing a conductive filling material between a cell surface and a short circuit member when the short circuit member is made to abut on at least one of both end surfaces of layered product including a defective unit cell of a fuel cell stack formed by laminating layered products of unit cells and cooling bodies each other and both the cooling bodies pinching the layered product. SOLUTION: End surfaces of both sides of a layered product 1 of plural unit cells including a defective cell at a predetermined position in the operation and flat cooling bodies 2, 2 for pinching the layer product 1 from upper and lower thereof are coated with the conductive filling agent 5 mainly composed of carbon powder having high flexibility and high conductivity. A flat short circuit member 4 such as a carbon block having high corrosion resistance is made to abut thereon for fixation. Both ends of an install member 7 to be inserted into a gas flow passage inside of the unit cell in the abutting condition is fastened to the short circuit member 4. Besides the facilitation of repair, stabilized conductivity is secured by the conductive filling agent 5, and hindrance of seal due to the irregularities of an abutment surface can be avoided. |
