PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a completely static clock pulse oscillator or a clock pulse oscillator which has a very high maximum operating frequency. SOLUTION: This static clock pulse oscillator includes plural stages, each of which includes a reset-set flip flop 3 and a gate circuit 4. The complementary outputs of the flip flop 3 control a gate circuit 4, which supplies clock pulses from a clock input to the output of a stage. The gate circuit 4, when switched off, holds the output at an initial value level. The flip flop 3 has a set input for receiving the output of its precedent stage and a reset input for receiving the output of its trailing stage.
