PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new nematophagous fungus having high infectious activity on nematodes of stems, leaves, buds, flowers or the like, having different types characterized in conidiophore, conidrogenous cell and conidiospore when proliferated, eating nematodes, useful as an ecologically controlling agent for nematodes, or the like. SOLUTION: This nematophagous fungus is a new fungus having high infectious activity on nematodes of stems, leaves, buds, flowers or the like, and when proliferated in vivo or on a solid medium, it grows into the first type and the second type which are characterized by the production of conidiophore, conidiogenous cell and conidiospore. In the first type, a conidiophore is double stem-shaped, mono stem-shaped, non-branched, upright and broadening ampule- shaped; a conidiogenous cell is fused and phialidic; and conidiospore is monogenean, unicellular, asymmetrical oval, crescent-shaped and concave. In the second type, a conidiogenous is double stem-shaped, single stem-shaped, non-branched or branched, cylindrical, knife-shaped, and long and slender; conidiogenous cell is fused, and phialidic, enteroblastic and pleurogenous; and conidiospore is monogenean, unicellular, bacillary and cylindrical. |
