PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain deviation in a needle handling mechanism even in the case of quick needle handling without complicating constitution in a time piece having an A.C.generator. SOLUTION: A barrel 1 has a substantially circular space in its inside, and a needle handling mechanism 2 is arranged in a substantially central part of the space. A switching part 3, an A.C.generator 4, a secondary battery 5, an hour-minute drive stepping motor 6 and a second drive stepping motor 7 are arranged on a substantially same plane in an outer circumferential side of the mechanism 2 within the space inside the barrel 1. The switching part 3 is arranged between the generator 4 and the secondary battery 5, the secondary battery 5 is arranged between the generator 4 and the second drive stepping motor 7. Distances between the stepping motors 6, 7 and the generator 4 are made large by this arrangement in the limited space inside the barrel 1 of a time piece.
