PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating member for a header capable of easily and certainly covering a movable split type header simply and promptly connecting a branch piping responding to a direction thereof, and improving a heat insulating effect. SOLUTION: Heat insulating members 51a, 51b are made from material having a low coefficient of heat conductivity, and provided with a storage space 52 for storing a movable split type header within main bodies thereof. A fixing hole 53 fitted with a fixing part of the header is drilled on a peripheral wall of the main bodies, and a plurality of insertion holes 55 in which at least one side of a branch piping and a branch piping connecting part 27 are drilled around each branch piping connecting part 27. A detachable covering member 54 is fitted in the insertion hole 55 to which the branch piping and the branch piping connecting part 27 are not inserted. The main body is composed by being separated in a plural pieces.
