PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open show case capable of forming a cold air curtain suitable for operation conditions and a protective air curtain. SOLUTION: An open show case 1 includes an internal layer air fan 45A for forming a cold air curtain over an opening 51 in a storage chamber 39 and an external layer air fan 45 for forming a protective air curtain outside the cold air curtain, wherein there are provided DC motors 56, 57 each for driving each air fan and a controller for controlling the revolutions of the DC motors 56, 57.
