PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soft twisted fabric free from sliminess, having dry feeling and proper stiffness, capable of providing woven or knit fabric excellent in texture and useful for fashion clothes, etc., by using fiber yarn composed of polylactic acid and having a prescribed crimp in part of the fabric. SOLUTION: This fabric is obtained by using a fiber yarn composed of polylactic acid and having a flat or crimp in at least part of the fabric. The fabric has a fiber property represented by the formula: K=TD1/2 (K is a twist coefficient; T is twist number per m; D is a denier) and twist having 20-30,000 K is applied to the yarn and the twist yarn is woven or knitted as both of warp and weft or either one of warp and weft. Furthermore, it is preferable that the twisted fabric is mixed or cross-knitted or woven with a fiber other than polylactic acid fiber and the warp is constituted of polylactic fiber yarn and the weft is constituted of polyethylene terephthalate fiber yarn to which twist having >=1,300 K is applied.
