PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering damper in which the number of part items is few, and the total length is short. SOLUTION: A seal guide member 5 which consists of a bush 19 to guide a piston rod 2, and a case 17 packing an oil seal 20 is provided slidable in the axial direction to the opening part of a cylinder 1, and a disc spring 26 which is compressed by the movement of the cylinder 1 of the seal guide member 5 is provided at the outer side of the cylinder 1. When an oil chamber in the cylinder is expanded by the temperature rise, the cylinder guide member 5 bends the disc spring 26 and moves in the axial direction, so as to compensate the temperature.
