PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power tilting equipment for a ship, propeller capable of stably positively carrying out a required tilting operation by insuring the positive actuation of two-piece type main valves. SOLUTION: This power tilting equipment for a ship, propeller is provided with a tilting cylinder device 12 for carrying out a tilting up and a tilting down operation by receiving the supply of hydraulic oil from a hydraulic pump 11 to a tilting lower chamber S2 and a tilting upper chamber S1, respectively, two-piece type main valves 13A, 13B provided to a tilting down side oil passage 22A for connecting the tilting upper chamber S1 of the tilting cylinder device 12 to the hydraulic pump 1 and a tilting upper side oil passage 22B for connecting the tilting lower chamber S2 to the hydraulic pump 11, and shuttle pistons 23A, 23B for opening and closing the two-piece type main valves 13A, 13B.
