<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersing agent which effectively prevents autohesion of a pigment and realizes good dispersion of the pigment. SOLUTION: This pigment dispersing agent comprises a graft copolymer having a nitrogen atom and an alcoholic hydroxyl group. The graft copolymer preferably contains, as the copolymer units, a polymerizable oligomer having ethylenically unsaturated double bond at the terminal, a nitrogen-containing monomer having a nitrogen atom and an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, and a polymerizable monomer having an alcoholic hydroxyl group. Alternatively the graft copolymer has preferably an alcoholic hydroxyl group and contains, as the copolymer units, a polymerizable oligomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond at the terminal and a nitrogen-containing monomer having a nitrogen atom and an ethylenically unsaturated double bond.</p> |
