<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a reflective liquid crystal display device in which the color filter pixels are normally formed without peeling or dissolving and which displays colors with additive primaries. SOLUTION: A pixel region R corresponding to red occupies one half the area of a magenta color filter pixel 2M and one half the area of a yellow color filter pixel 2Y formed on a transparent substrate 1, also a pixel region G corresponding to green occupies one half the area of a yellow color filter pixel 2Y and one half the area of a cyan color filter pixel 2C and likewise a pixel region B corresponding to blue occupies one half the area of a cyan color filter pixel 2C and one half the area of a magenta color filter pixel 2M.</p> |
