PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and quicken the input operation of a game machine and to improve the speed feeling, the appealing and the ambience of a computer game by correctly decoding and distinguishing the player's intension on the basis of the intension representing configuration of a body part of the player and inputting the same to a computer, for inputting the player's intension to the computer by a mechanical input means such as a press button, a joy stick and the like in a computer game machine. SOLUTION: The intension representing configuration representing various intensions by a body part of a player is photographed, the photographed data is input to a computer, the image is processed to form a distinguishment image having the characteristic of the intension representing configuration, the image data representing the characteristic of the distinguishment image is operated by the computer to calculate the characteristic amount of the distinguishment image, and the kind of the player's intension is specified on the basis of the characteristic amount to advance a game.
