PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reproducibility of the gradation in the density of an original image, and make a confirmation of the image, which is recognizable, without spoiling the gradation in the density of the original image by setting a plurality of kinds of fine holes of which the areas are different in response to a density range, and forming a punched hole image having a gradation by changing the areas of the fine holes. SOLUTION: For example, a face photograph original image A which is a digital color image of 256 gradations, is converted into a gray scale image B by applying a generally known image processing technique. The gray scale image B is a variable density image of 256 gradations, and is converted into an image C of four gradations by reducing a specified number of the gradation number. In this case, settings to be classified into a first gradation to a fourth gradation (1)-(4) are determined. The maximum characteristic is that the fourth gradation is expressed by making the areas of punched holes different, and when the areas of punched holes are made different, the variation looks different. That is, as the area of the punched hole becomes larger, the reflection amount is less by reflected light, and the punched hole looks denser (darker), and by transmitted light, the transmitted light amount is large, and the punched hole looks thinner (brighter). |
