PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal where release performance of fitting claws of an upper case and a lower case of the terminal required for disassembling the terminal is enhanced so as to reduced occurrence of deformation or cracks of the main body of the terminal due to bent or torsion or the like and that also has a sufficient fitting retaining force. SOLUTION: The upper case 1 and the lower case 2 of the main body of the portable terminal are respectively provided with a plurality of fitting claws 10, 12 to hold and fix the opposite claws each other, and the fitting claws 10, 20 have fitting horizontal planes 4 that are nearly in parallel with each other by which the upper case 1 and the lower case 2 are supported with each other when they are engaged with each other. Part of the fishing horizontal plane 4 of either of the fitting claws 10, 20 has a fitting twisted plane 5 that is twisted in a direction in which the plane 5 is parted from the fitting horizontal plane 4 of the other of the fitting claws 10, 20. When releasing the fitting claws 10 of the upper case 1 and the lower case 2 in the case of disassembling the main body of the portable terminal adopting this configuration, the fitting claw 20 without the fitting twisted plane 5 is gradually released along the fitting twisted plane 5 of the fitting claw 10 with the fitting twisted plane 5.
