PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mast lower part from being an obstacle in a rough terrain by pivotally supporting the lower end of a main mast on the front end of a chassis frame by a mounting bracket, so as to be substantially in the same height as the chassis frame, and arranging a tilting cylinder between it and the chassis frame so as to be tiltable. SOLUTION: The lower end of a main mast 34 is supported on the front end of a chassis frame 2 via a mounting bracket so as to be substantially in the same height as the chassis frame 2. The main mast 34 is tilted by a mast tilting cylinder 42 to slightly rock the lower end upward but is basically held substantially in the same height as the chassis frame 2, so as not to approach the ground or a road surface. According to this, since the lower end of the main mast 34 for guiding the lowering of a fork 49 to the road surface is substantially at the height of the chassis frame 2 and not close to the road surface, the main mast 34 is movable without interfering with the irregularities or undulation of a rough terrain.
