PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance positioning accuracy of an electrical conductor (a segment), at the ingestion of the electrical conductor into the slot of a stator core and to prevent damages to the segment. SOLUTION: A segment presser foot 16 presses a turn part 31a of a segment whose linear-part tip is inserted into the slot of a stator core. At this time, by having a protrusion 16a formed on the rear surface of the segment presser foot 16 sandwich the central part of the turn part 31a from both sides in the circumferential direction the segment is prevented from deviating in the circumferential direction.
