PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air vent having no valve leakage by increasing valve closing force. SOLUTION: A cover 2 is threadedly connected to a body 1 so as to form a valve casing having a valve chamber 3 in its inside. An inlet opening 4 is formed in the lower part of the body 1, and a valve seat member 6 in which an exhaust hole 5 is opened is fixed to the cover 2, thereby the valve chamber 3 in which the inflow opening 4 is opened in its lower part and the exhaust hole 5 is opened in its upper part can be formed. A float 10 is stored in the valve chamber 3. A fulcrum 11 is arranged at the lower end of the valve seat member 6, and one end of a lever 12 is slidably connected. A semispheric valve element 13 to open/close the exhaust hole 5 is attached to the fulcrum 11 side of the lever 12 and a connecting member 15 fixed on the float 10 is loosely connected to the other end of the lever 12. When the valve element 13 closes the exhaust hole 5, the upper surface of the float 10 abuts on the lower end of the valve element 13 so as to push the valve element 13 to the exhaust hole 5, and buoyancy of the float 10 is acted as valve closing force to the valve element 13. |
