PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible surely executing operation required by a user even when a partial phrase showing a command is omitted when the same command is repeated. SOLUTION: This camera is a voice operable camera recognizing a voice command constituted of plural phrases generated from a camera operator and executing the prescribed operation answering to the voice command. At this time, a DSP(digital signal processor) 31 incorporated in a voice command recognition unit 29 is provided with a function recognizing the phrases constituting the voice command, a function storing the recognized phases and a function detecting that the partial phrases constituting the voice command is omitted and complementing the omitted phrases with the stored phrases, and a CPU 17 being the means controlling the camera operation is provided with a function temporarily changing the function of e.g. a release switch 35 according to the command from the DSP 31. |
