PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improver compsn. which is excellent in strength characteristics as well as chemical resistance, water barrier property and water permeability, and which enables vegetation, and to provide a method for preparing an improved soil. SOLUTION: This soil improver compsn. is one for improving a soil by mixing into a soil to be improved (subject soil), the compsn. having been prepd. by blending a cement type solidifying agent in an amt. of 50-400 kg/1 m3 of the subject soil, a water-borne dispersion compsn. obtd. by dispersing a raw material comprising a type of asphalt which is melted previously into a liq. state and/or a thermoplastic resin into an aq. soln. of a polyvinylalcohol resin, at a concn. of 50% and in an amt. of 2-20 kg/1 m3 of the subject soil, and a fiber in an amt. of 2-20 kg/1 m3 of the subject soil. The method for preparing the improved soil is as follows: 50-400 kg of a cement type solidifying agent, 2-20 kg of a water-borne dispersion compsn. at a concn. of 50%, and 2-20 kg of a fiber are added to 1 m3 of a soil on site to be improved, and are blended, in which the water-borne dispersion compsn. has been prepd. continuously by sending a raw material comprising a type of asphalt which has been previously melted into a liq. state and/or a thermoplastic resin, as well as an aq. soln. of a polyvinylalcohol resin to a mixing machine comprising a rotary member and a non-rotary member, and by rotating the rotary member at a high speed. |
