PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly stabilize a positioning position at the time of stoppage of a receiver, and highly precisely measure a position. SOLUTION: A moving/stopping detecting part 16 for detecting movement and stoppage of a receiver is provided in this GPS receiver. Setting for a filter function for smoothening a positioning data of an operation part 13 is changed between at the time of the moving of the receiver and at the time of its stopping based on a detection signal from the detecting part 16. The filter function is set to smoothen all the positioning data during a stopping period at the time of the stoppage of the receiver. |
