PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly equalize the waveform of a reproduced signal even when an electromagnetic characteristic is largely changed by an elapse change or the like. SOLUTION: An equalization circuit is constituted of the amplitude correcting part 101 constituted of an integration circuit 103 correcting a low frequency region and a high frequency region emphasizing circuit 104 and the group delay correcting circuit 102 constituted of second order all-pass filters 105, 106 of the side of the low frequency region and the side of the high frequency region. As to an amplitude correction, the amplitude correcting part is controlled so as to express a characteristic close to the Nyquist characteristic by adjusting the high frequency region while controlling RI of the circuit 103 and also controlling R2 of the circuit 104. Moreover, also as to a group delay, the group correcting circuit 102 is controlled so that a group delay characteric is changed by adjusting Rb and Rc of the side of the low frequency region and the side of the high frequency region.
