PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and to reduce the cost by eliminating troublesome works in case of hiding the apex of a reflectionless glass. SOLUTION: A dial 3a with an indicator 3b is arranged in a meter case 2, and a nearly conical or pyramidal reflectionless glass 20 is arranged in the opening 2b of the meter case 2 in this meter device for a vehicle. A hole 20e is formed at the apex 20d of the reflectionless glass 20, and a flat plate-like plate section 22a covering the hole 20e and having nearly the same size as that of the needle center 10 of the indicator 3b and a decoration plate 22 having a coupling piece 22c coupled with the edge section of the hole 20e are removably fitted to the hole 20e.
