PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize short size material feed in a high precision by correcting a feed error of the short size material and a position error of a work when feeding short size materials continuously arranged with plural works to a working stage. SOLUTION: A mark 16 for work positioning is arranged in short size materials 6 having plural works continuously arranged at a constant pitch interval. The position deviation of the mark for work positioning is measured at each feed of the short size material in a constant pitch interval by a mark position measurement sensor 20. Based on the position deviation measurement result, the feed of the short size materials 6 is corrected. Further, by using several kinds of different shapes of the mark for positioning and recognizing its shape, the selection of a feed quantity corresponding to the mark shape is made possible.
