PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only shear a work piece made of flat steel, but also shear a work piece such as corrugated steel or perpendicularly bent steel along a curving surface of the work piece. SOLUTION: In a shearing machine equipped with fixed edges 16 arranged in a head 1b of the shearing machine 1 in parallel and a movable edge 11 swinging between two fixed edges 16, a curving face 17 is formed on a working face of the fixed blade 16 in a shearing direction, and a perpendicular line S at a contact of the curving face 17 and a virtual sheared plane B of a work piece forms an angle of 15 to 30 degrees with a center H of the shearing machine 1 to separate a lower face of a holding part 1a of the shearing machine 1 from a upper face of the work piece such as flat steel, corrugated steel N, or perpendicularly bent steel.
