<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and a handlability by preventing a clutch device from being engaged unintensionally. SOLUTION: This electric vehicle is provided with a body 1, a clutch device 14 provided between the travel device 9 of the body 1 and an electric motor 13, and a seat 17 installed on the body 1. The seat 17 is constituted of a seat base 19 suspended between a pair of the right and left seat back fame 18, an under cushion 20 rockable upward and mounted on the seat base 19 movably longitudinally, and a pair of the right and left folding metal fittings 21 supporting the rocking under cushion 20. The crutch device 14 and the folding metal fittings 21 are interconnected by a wire cable 16 to disengage the clutch device 14 when the under cushion 20 is rocked and to engage the clutch device 14 when the under cushion 20 is returned. The clutch device 14 is not disengaged unless the under cushion 20 is lifted, thus the clutch device 14 is prevented from being disengaged even when the electric vehicle jumps on an irregular road.</p> |
