PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conductive rubber member for an electrophotographic device having excellent conductivity and excellent non-contaminating property by incorporating a process assistant such as an alkanoic acid and tributyl phosphate into a rubber essentially comprising epichlorohydrin to prepare a conductive rubber compsn. for an electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: The part to be in contact with a photoreceptor is composed of a rubber member for an electrophotographic device consisting of a conductive rubber compsn. for an electrophotographic device. As for the conductive rubber compsn. for an electrophotographic device, a process assistant comprising an alkanoic acid, tributyl phosphate and an alkyl and/or an aryl phosphite is incorporated into a rubber essentially comprising epichlorohydrin. The rubber essentially comprising epichlorohydrin is preferably a copolymer of epichlorohydrin and ethylene oxide. The alkanoic acid is not specified, and for example, a 4-30C straight-chain saturated fatty acid can be used. |
