PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footing material which is inexpensive, light in weight, easily manufactured and assembled, and has high safety by forming a play apparatus footing material constituting a play apparatus such as a slide, a tunnel out of an extruded shape of aluminum or aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: This footing material for a play apparatus is so constructed that an upper plate part 2 and a lower plate part 3 parallel thereto are connected to each other by plural reinforcement plate parts 3 vertically stretched therebetween, and formed integrally by an extruded shape of an aluminum alloy. After extrusion molding, the footing material is subjected to alumite process (sulfate process), and further colored in silver white or baking finished. Recessed parts 7 in which nonslip rubber material 6 is fitted are formed by designated pitch in the cross direction of the upper plate part 2 in the upper plate part, and fitting part accommodating grooves 10 where fitting members 9 are slidably accommodated are formed by designated pitch in the lower plate part 3. Both sides of the footing material 1 are covered with side plate material 13 attached by a screw 16.
