PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of optical noise in a photodetector caused by environmental light and to receive optical signals without lowering the intensity of signal light, even if using a wavelength cut filter in the conventional optical communication device which uses lights of a plurality of kinds of wavelengths. SOLUTION: Optical communication devices 10, 20 are each provided with a wavelength cut filter consisting of two or more photodetectors 4, 5, which receive lights of two or more kinds of wavelengths respectively and resin covering the photodetectors. The wavelength cut filter is constituted of two or more parts 6, 7 which are different in wavelength cutting characteristic, so that each part covers one or two or more photodetectors.
