PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data signal format which actualizes speedy and accurate AGC convergence by composing a data signal of a synchronizing signal and an information signal, the synchronizing signal of a constant-amplitude signal, and the information of an amplitude multiplex signal, and equalizing the mean electric power of the synchronizing signal to the mean electric power of the information signal. SOLUTION: A data signal is composed of a synchronizing signal and information signal, the synchronizing signal is composed of the constant-amplitude signal, the information signal is composed of the amplitude multiplex signal, and the mean electric power of the synchronizing signal is equal to the mean electric power of the information signal. This communication device generates a transmit data series by a transmit data constituting circuit 39, the synchronizing signal is inserted right before the information signal, and AGC control is performed with this signal. A synchronizing signal RAM 40 is stored with the synchronizing signal code format. The generated transmit data series is converted by an amplitude set value circuit 36 to respective amplitude levels of actual transmission. Namely, the amplitude level setting of the synchronizing signal can be changed arbitrary. Furthermore, the information signal has multi-valued amplitudes, whose amplitude levels can be set arbitrarily. |
