PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a light emitting layer having excellent color balance while equalizing durability of each color by including a light emitting area having a different area in plural light emitting areas formed on a board. SOLUTION: In the case where a pitch of one picture element in the simple matrix stripe arrangement on a board 1 is 300 m and a gap between each light emitting area 20 is 30 μm, for example, width of a red light emitting area 20 is set at 90 μm, and width of a green light emitting area and a blue light emitting area are set at 60 μm so that the R light emitting area 20 becomes 1.5 times of the G and B light emitting areas 20. Current density equal to each other can be obtained by forming the R light emitting area 20 at 1.5 times of the G and the B light emitting areas 20, and since an occupation factor of one light emitting area is large, practical light emitting intensity is improved. Durability (lifetime) of the R light emission is thereby improved. Area of each light emitting area 20 can be adjusted for setting on the basis of the durability of the light emitting material to be used. |
