<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grooving/rolling method and grooving/rolling device for reducing fluctuations in a load and uniformly forming grooves even when the grooves are asymmetrical to the center line. SOLUTION: In a grooving/rolling method by which the groove shape of the grooved roll 2 is transferred to a planer bar stock 1 by passing through the planar bar stock 1 between a grooved roll 2 and an intermediate roll 3 supported with a back-up roll 4, load which is impressed to the roll shaft of at least one roll among the grooved roll 2, intermediate roll 3 and back-up roll 4 is detected. In accordance with the fluctuations in the detected load, roll-down loads in both side parts of the roll shafts of the grooved roll 2, intermediate roll 3 or back-up roll 4 are individually controlled.</p> |
