PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal such as a facsimile equipment provided with a display function of a caller telephone number service that clearly informs an operator about the arrival of a facsimile call from a facsimile communication network. SOLUTION: The communication terminal is a facsimile equipment 20 that stores a caller number coming from an exchange of a common carrier to an incoming call history table 7a in a RAM 7, and when an incoming call comes from a facsimile communication network, a main control section 1 stores information denoting its incoming call in the incoming call history table 7a. Furthermore, the main control section 1 stores information set in a transmission terminal identification signal from the facsimile communication network to the incoming call history table 7a together with the information denoting the incoming call from the facsimile communication network. Then a display section 4 displays contents stored in the incoming call history table 7a or an image recording section 3 prints out the contents on paper to inform an operator about the contents.
