PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively process a waste while occurrence of dioxine is suppressed. SOLUTION: A furnace body 1 and combustion device 3 are provided, a carbonized material combustion pot 5 is provided in the cylindrical furnace body 1, a supply path 9 for the carbonized material is introduced into the furnace body 1 while the carbonized material discharged from the supply path 9 is allowed to be fed to the carbonized material combustion pot 5, the combustion device 3 comprises a pair of heat source discharge ports 10 for discharging a heat source toward inside the furnace body 1, and the heat source discharge ports face each other across the carbonized material combustion pot 5 while oriented about 45 deg. against a furnace core, so that the hot air in the furnace body 1 heated by the discharged heat source rises in the furnace body while revolving in it, for extended exposure period.
