PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a small and lightweight heat exchanger excellent in heat exchanging performance inexpensively by providing a plurality of tubular parts serving as liquid refrigerant flow channels continuously through an intermediate fin part and providing an outer edge fin on the outer circumferential surface the outermost tubular part. SOLUTION: Tubular parts 7-1, 7-2 having inner surface grooves 6,... are provided integrally on the opposite sides of an intermediate fin part 3-1 and fins 2-1, 2-2 are formed integrally on the outer edge of the tubular parts 7-1, 7-2 to construct a heat exchanger 1 for air conditioning. When such a heat exchanger 1 is manufactured, two metal plates are prepared and subjected to grooving on one surface. Each metal plate is set in a split tubular press to form a split tubular body for refrigerant channel. Subsequently, two sheets of intermediate product are set in the tubular press while facing each other to form the tubular parts 7-1, 7-2 which are then pressed to form a heat exchanger.
