PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently conduct reading by decreasing operation steps up to starting reading of a read unit with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A couple of operation reference positions 101A, 101B are provided to both ends of a board 101 on which various information is displayed, a position of a read unit 103 before starting the reading detected by a position detection section is compared with a pair the operation reference positions 101A, 101B and a read unit 103 is moved to either of the operation reference positions which is closer to the position of the read unit 103.
