PURPOSE:To provide a composite molded body of norbornane polymer provided with a metal insert body and of good appearance, safety and coating properties which prevents warp and crack of a polymer layer and improve the strength of a surface layer. CONSTITUTION:A composite molded body is manufactured by disposing reinforcing fiber between a metal insert body and the surface in a mold in the manufacturing method of the composite molded body in which reaction liquid containing a norbornane monomer and a metathesis catalyst are fed into the mold under the presence of the metal insert body and bulk ring opening polymerization is carried out. Further a net-shaped body formed by a polymer to be integrated with a norbornane polymer to be composed is disposed between the reinforced fiber and the surface in the mold for manufacturing said composite molded body. |
