PURPOSE:To obtain a plasticizer for a halogen-containing resin effective in improving a low-temperature flexibility, migration resistance and other properties in balanced state by using a glyceride as an essential reaction component constituting a polyester. CONSTITUTION:The objective polyester-type plasticizer is produced by using one or more kinds of glyceride selected from mono-, di- and triglyceride, preferably triglyceride (e.g. coconut oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil or their hardened oils) as an essential reaction component constituting the polyester. The plasticizer is compounded to a halogen-containing resin (e.g. vinyl chloride resin) in an amount of 10-150 pts.wt. (preferably 20-100 pts.wt.) based on 100 pts.wt. of the resin. |
