PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate noise caused by the friction of a stabilizer bar with the inner peripheral surface of a retaining hole by using a thermoplastic resin single body as bush material, and selecting a thermoplastic resin material capable of providing a specified skid resistance value or less. SOLUTION: A stabilizer bush 4 comprises a cylinder body having a retaining hole 3 capable of retaining a stabilizer bar through, which is formed of a thermoplastic resin single body such as engineering plastic or thermoplastic elastomer. This cylinder body is highly rigid compared with a rubber-made one, the thickness can be set small, and the skid resistance of the outer peripheral surface of the bush 4 and the inner peripheral surface of the retaining hole 3 can be set to 0.8 or below. When the bush 4 consisting of such a thermoplastic resin single body is assembled to a vehicle, the fictional resistance of the bush 4 with the inner peripheral surface of the retaining hole 3 is reduced to the torsion caused in the stabilizer bar in rolling of the vehicle. Accordingly, generation of foreign sound can be reduced by this portion. |
