PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite plastic film high in the bonding strength between a plastic layer and a substrate film. SOLUTION: A composite plastic film 10 has a plastic film 12 and at least one surface of this film 12 is coated with a ceramic material 14 bonded by using a vacuum thin layer bonding method if desired. A plastic layer 18 is bonded to the upper surface of the plastic film or ceramic layer (if present) and, therefore, the ceramic layer 14 is positioned between the plastic film 12 and the plastic layer 18 and a metal layer 16 comprising a metal or an alloy is provided between the plastic film 12 or the ceramic layer 14 (if present) and the plastic layer 18 in order to assist bonding.
