SUBSTANCE: disc shears include disc cutters 12 mounted on two mutually parallel shafts 1 mounted on bearings in chocks 5,6,7 arranged in turnings of supporting struts of shears. Disc shears also include device for radially moving upper shaft and drive unit. Supporting strut has upper 9 and lower 10 portions at side opposite relative to drive unit. Upper portion 9 has cylindrical turning and it is joined with chock of upper shaft arranged at side of drive unit of shears. Chock 7 of upper shaft at side opposite to drive unit is mounted in cylindrical turning of upper portion 9 with possibility of controlled axial motion. EFFECT: lowered labor consumption for adjusting disc shears, simplified design of shears due to common device for radial adjustment of chocks of upper shaft. 3 dwg
