The invention is a device which prevents vehicles from driving off roadways.The railing includes stationary and hanging blocks. The stationary block consists of vertical bollards, fixed at a certain depth in the ground. Profiled safety straps are fixed on the bollards in two rows, one above the other. The hanging component is the profiled safety strap. Stationary and hanging straps are loosely coupled with ropes that are threaded through openings in the bollards and the lugs mounted on the straps along strip bending so that both profiled safety straps are deformed in the event of an impact, they are interconnected with flexible elements.In the event of interaction between a vehicle and the railing, the profiled safety straps are deformed and in the event of a larger impact, the ropes are deformed too. |
